NaPoWriMo Day 18

Today’s challenge:  to write a poem that involves an urgent journey and an important message. It could historical, mythical, entirely fictional, or memoir-ical.

Gott Go Gotta Go

hurry up Johnny

mom make him hurry please

he’s got me standing here

squeezing my knees

why’s he so slow

I gotta go

I’m doing the potty dance

oh my goodness

oh no

I think I peed my pants

message: when you gotta go, you gotta go

NaPoWriMo Day 13

Today’s prompt: “today I challenge you to write a riddle poem”

This one’s easy for me as I have a “Riddle Me This” category right here on my blog. Although I considered copying and pasting one of my old riddles I decided to write a new one just for NaPOWriMo.

Here ye here ye

Let it be known

Im still really small

Even when I’m full grown

Either way Im very helpful

During youth or old age

My worth does not waiver

No matter my life stage

I pig out on things

That creep some folks out

Im quick when I grab em

As I lurk all about

So not everyone values

My size, style, or worth

Is it my color

Or perhaps my girth

Wait, I’m no fat guy

Im sleek, slender and slim

Im fast when I move

I go limb to limb

Got it now? Do you know what I am?

Ok need more clues

Look closely at the pic

At the different green hues

Im right there in front

Im trying to blend in

You can call me Waldo

When you find me you win!
