This past Thursday this little puppy showed up on my front doorstep
.
Notice the black wire? It’s actually embedded in her neck…
–After several attempt with bolt cutters we were able to get it and the other “collar” off of her.
I checked around but had no luck in locating her owner so I took her to the Vet, who immediately said she needed stitches. I left her there and they were kind enough to snap this pre-stich picture for me (if her previous owners want her back they’d better be ready to explain this to the police!) 
. 
A mere four days later with a neck full of stitches, all vaccines, an antibiotic and a heart worm preventative onboard and look at her now… 
Note: I’ve never been a pit bull fan but I’ve also never been one to abuse and or neglect any type of animal (I’ll never stand by and watch anyone else do that either!).
To the previous owner: TRY ME!

Hi, is this an odd name for a blog or what? We'd actually prefer it to be known as a peaceful, magical and mystical spot. It's a spot where you can stop in for a daily dose of love and laughter sprinkled with a bit of chaos, confusion and lunacy. You can get great recipes and cooking tips, as well as drilling and building ideas. Who does that? Who knows their way around the kitchen and around the tool shed?
Well, I guess that's part of what'll make this blog so interesting - that and the brief glimpse you'll get into a very elite and exclusive lifestyle - one that supports a "never a dull moment" and "everything ain't for everybody" attitude.
By the way, remember to keep an open mind (no judging or finger pointing), a watchful eye (be on the lookout for random giveaways), and a positive -pay it forward-attitude (everybody could use an occasional leg up).
Now I know it sounds easy, but don't get it twisted, this "dance ain't for everybody", it's not always a bowl full of cherries, but we make the best of it by drinking a whole lot of lemonade and by praying daily for peace, patience and understanding; after all, we woke up like this!

thats beyond horrible what the puppys previous owner did! some people are so inhumane. I am so glad you have her now! xx

I’m surprised she’s doing so well now. The bandage comes off tomorrow and her stitches come out in two weeks. I’ll have her weighed when I take her in for that.
